

Throughout the late 1970s and up until the time requirements arising out of his international work precluded his further involvement, Jonathan Steinberg ran the Hampstead Conservative Association Legal Advice Service.
Jonathan Steinberg is renowned as a major antiques and collectables personality and is the author of the standard work on vintage fountain pens. This is a four colour coffee-table style hard cover book which has sold over sixty thousand copies in four languages over five continents.
He was International Editor of Pen World Magazine from 1988 to 1989 and gained world wide acclaim writing editorials for that journal. He was appointed to the editorial board of Personal Finance Magazine in 1995
He is also a collectables adviser to USA Today (Dan Dorfman) and Forbes Magazine. He has been consulted by and has advised news media on collectables issues world wide and has been quoted extensively in such papers as the Wall Street Journal, American Heritage and the Sunday Times. In addition to his appearances on CNBC and WNBC, as well as various radio stations, he has been featured on BBC World Service, which (with an audience of approximately 180 million) is estimated to be the largest radio station in the world.
He further organises collectables shows all over the world, having staged internationally attended events in such places as Milan, Bologna and New York.
